Juan Carlos Dumas is an Argentine-born clinical psychotherapist with 30 years of professional experience, a published writer and university professor. Dr. Dumas has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University, where he received the Distinguished Performance Award and taught graduate-level courses for years. He has a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and is a Board Certified Clinical Psychopathologist, Medical Psychotherapist and Psychodiagnostician.
Since 1991, he has been a Mental Health Consultant for the Department of Health and Human Services and has given numerous workshops, pro-bono presentations, lectures and conferences covering a wide variety of topics, from “The AD/HD & ODD Spectrum” for the National Head Start Conference to “International Terrorism: The Twin Towers Case” at Argentina’s National School of Intelligence.
